Dr. CJ Helm is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, and Wisconsin as well as an Executive Coach trained in the prestigious techniques of Sherpa Coaching. Dr. CJ has dedicated his life to creating space and opportunities of power for individuals in their time of need. He brings his whole self to every engagement and relationships. Meaning, he will likely greet you with a genuine permanent smile, an earring in each ear, and a sense of comfort that seems to always feel familiar.

At an early age CJ was selected to be a Lighthouse kid and received educational opportunities that were not available to most kids in his neighborhood. This biculturalism has allowed him to listen and exist in relationships without judgement. His neighborhood training in Shelbourne Court paired with formal training has made him open-minded, creative, and keen to growth needs.

Dr. CJ often tells clients, organizations, and students, “I believe everything in life has two Ps. A Process and a Purpose. I have been doing this for 10 years and have yet to find anything in life that lacks the 2Ps.” He brings his 2P’s approach to Executive Coaching, Individual Therapy, Speaking Engagements, and Professional Courses. He uses cognitive behavioral techniques along with trauma and culturally informed research to help create change in all he comes in contact with. His style can be unconventional but very effective. CJ models healthy choices, positive self-talk, and a triumphant spirit that has been vital in creating meaning and ultimately creating a purpose-filled life.
